Mikael Bernholm has his roots in the heart of Sweden, in Varmland. He has lived in Stockholm and Old Uppsala but has moved back to Radatorp in Varmland, to get closer to nature and wildlife. He is an autodidact and has been interested in photography since he got his first camera in college. The interest has become more serious since he moved to Uppsala.

He has participated in exhibitions in Uppsala with a series of pictures from Orskar, a small island in the archipelago. Mikael has also been active in Uppsala’s Photographic Society. There have been exhibitions with Mikaels pictures in Uppsala, Filipstad 2007, Karlstad 2008, Molkom 2009 and in Kopparberg 2010.

Mikael’s photography covers a wide spectra such as landscapes, wildlife, fine art, still life, portraits, events, cityscapes, streetphotography but is mainly focused on nature photography.
